3200SF Class Protest Update

8/31/2026 – This past weekend in Madison, South Dakota there was a protest against the Like Father Like Son tractor driven by David Petersen in the 3200 Super Field class. The legality of engine cubic inch, turbo, and fuel injection pump plunger size were the items protested. The vehicle was confiscated and stored in a secured area overnight.

An inspection on the protested items was performed the following day by an Outlaw Truck & Tractor Pulling Association Tech Official and witnessed by an executive board member. The items in question were found to be legal. The vehicle/competitor being protested has been reinstated for any awards to be received, as well as any future competition. No further action is needed.
