Outlaw Truck and Tractor Pulling Association Welcomes Kyle Petsch as Chief Operating Officer
The Outlaw Truck and Tractor Pulling Association (OTTPA) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Kyle Petsch as its new Chief Operating Officer, effective October 1, 2024. Petsch will join the OTTPA Executive Leadership team, bringing a wealth of experience and passion for the sport.
A Lifelong OTTPA Member with Deep Roots
Petsch is a lifelong member of the OTTPA and a past multi-time points champion in the modified tractor class with his turbine powered Thermal Thunder. He most recently served as the association’s Director of Information Technology. His involvement in the sport began at a young age, as he’s been pulling tractors since the age of sixteen and garden tractors before that. Petsch has a deep understanding of the sport, having held various roles within organizations like the OTTPA and the Iowa Tractor Pullers Association.
Leading Operations and Charting the Course for Growth
In his new role, Petsch will oversee the day-to-day operations of the OTTPA. He will work collaboratively with the Executive Leadership Team, Board Members, Technical Services Team, and representatives from all 18 of the organization’s pulling classes. Additionally, he will assist OTTPA Vice President Ron Stone with event booking and manage the team behind the popular and ever-growing OutlawPullingTV live stream.
Current Leadership Welcomes New COO
“We are excited to announce the hiring of Kyle Petsch as the COO for the Outlaws. Adding Kyle to our leadership team means we are adding someone with a passion for the sport and knowledge of the sport as a puller and promoter.” said OTTPA owner and CEO, Kurt Van Beek and President Taylor Van Beek. “Kyle is someone who understands what it will take to take the Outlaw brand into the future and make it even stronger. Kyle Petsch and Ron Stone as a team will continue to make this the best organization to pull with, to have an event with and sponsor with. We want to welcome Kyle aboard.”
Commitment to the Outlaw Family
“I am very excited and honored to be able to continue to grow the Outlaw Brand and Family that Kurt Van Beek and his team have worked hard to build,” said Kyle Petsch. “Outlaws have the best Pullers, Promoters, and Sponsors in the sport of truck and tractor pulling, and I look forward to being able to continue to grow these relationships to deliver fast-paced, high-horsepower, exciting pulling events to our great fans and future fans.”
